Villa Castrum, also known as Hoeve Caestert in Riemst, is a historic farm located on the Caestert Plateau.
Villa Castrum is open every Sunday afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00. If you are doing the purple or yellow hike from Kanne, Villa Castrum is a welcome stop. You can have a drink at the café, and at the visitor center, learn more about the fauna and flora of the Caestert Plateau.

International Cooperation
Villa Castrum is a collaboration between Natagora (Wallonia), Natuurpunt (Flanders), and Natuurmonumenten (Netherlands). The operation of the "nature house" is only possible thanks to the dedication of a few enthusiastic volunteers.
