This walk combines the natural beauty of the Plateau of Caestert with an excursion to the Walloon town of Lanaye. And for those who want, even to the Dutch town of Eijsden.
One of the first interesting points along the route is Villa Castrum. On Sundays, you can enjoy a drink at this "nature house." And for those interested, you can also learn more about the fauna and flora of the Plateau of Caestert.
The Lanaye Lock
A little further along, the route crosses the Albert Canal at the Lanaye lock, then traverses the nature reserve 'La Frayère de Lanaye.' In Lanaye (a district of Visé), during the tourist season, you can take a ferry to the Dutch town of Eijsden.
High Limestone Cliffs
