The longest walk from Kanne takes you on a loop through Eben-Emael to Eijsden in the Netherlands, or vice versa.
This walk highlights the limestone cliffs, both along the Albert Canal between Kanne and Lanaye, as well as on the slopes of the Sint-Pietersberg in Lanaye and Eben-Emael. In Eben-Emael, you will also pass the Fort.
Just like the yellow route, you’ll cross the canal at the Lanaye lock and then pass through the La Frayère de Lanaye nature reserve.
