The Holy Sepulchre Chapel is one of the gems of the white village of Kanne. During your bike ride or walk, step into this small oasis of silence and peace.
After a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, Herman Jekermans wanted to build a replica of the real Holy Sepulchre Chapel. In 1647, he began constructing his own Holy Sepulchre Chapel at the foot of the Muizenberg. Throughout Kanne, there are several stations of the cross. As you walk through the village, you're sure to come across one. The Holy Sepulchre Chapel serves as the thirteenth and final station.
