You can visit the oldest wine castle in Belgium in Riemst: the Genoels-Elderen Wine Castle, a pioneer of Belgian winemaking. On the landscape slopes in and around Genoelselderen, 22 hectares of vineyards stretch out.
Tasting on the wine terrace
During the high season, a wine terrace opens in front of the castle steps. We call this location "the most beautiful terrace in Flanders." You can taste the wines of Genoelselderen while enjoying the view of the rose garden, the castle, and the rolling landscape. A tasting of your choice is also included in the tours.

Van Rennes Family
Since 1990, the Van Rennes family has revived the Roman winemaking culture. Craftsmanship has been passed down for generations. Now, Julia and Gabriel, the third generation of winemakers, continue the quality legacy of the late Jaap van Rennes.
